foods to lose weight Posted: 06-08-08 10:35am
I work long, long hours...least 12 hours
every day of the week; due to my job I
usually have to get up in the middle of
the night to take people different places.
I start at 0630 and get off at 1900;
unless working overtime. My night runs to
the LZ is from 2200 to 0400...I have crazy
hours. I could put in time for the
gym...but after these hours and knowing I
will have to wake up in a few hours...I
just dont feel like hitting the gym. Pure
lack of motivation. I would like to lose a
little bit more weight though...what kind
of foods can I start eating to help a
little bit. Shoud I skip a meal here and
there or what? When I first got over here
I lost weight, I had to put 3 extra holes
in my belt; but I havent lost any lately.
What would be a good diet. Also, what kind
of foods could I eat to get me going...to
keep me awake or give me more energy after
these midnight hours.....thanks to
everyone with a helpful voice.....take
care everyone.

you should never skip meals ever, your
body goes into starvation mode and starts
storing fats...i usually eat a low calorie
protein bar as a nice snack and it keeps
the hunger pangs away..just eat a balanced
diet..thats really the only healthy way to
eat, another great snack I looove is apple
and peanut butter...fruit and protein
right there, its great for you..dont eat
simple sugars..those burn off in the body
really fast and you'll be hungry again
before you know it...try to eat plenty of
protein, you'll have that full feeling
longer, just stay away from fatty stuff
and fast food....fruits, veggies, whole
grains, protein...i always say, the more
"color" a plate has, the more value it
has(nutritionally)...and if you think
about it it makes sense..unless you're
talking about skittles of course
