I just had to make this post for all to
see. Brina and I are trying to reinitiate
breastfeeding thanks to my new job. I am
now at home most of the day and only go in
from 2-6 in the afternoon and occasionally
in the mornings so I decided we would try
this again. She was still nursing at night
but my milk supply was next to nothing so
it wasn't even enough for a full feeding.
We started trying to increase my milk
supply today. I pretty much nursed her
before every feeding for 10 minutes on
each breast. Tonight I was walking through
the house and all of a sudden I felt my
shirt get wet. I ran through the house and
yelled Brandon my milk's coming back. It
was just an awesome moment. I thought that
my breastfeeding days with her were over
but now I have a renewed sense of victory.
I'm just so happy to be at home more. I'm
also only a minute away from work and for
now I'm able to take her with me. I work
at a daycare btw. Anyways, that was my
happy post. I will try to post some pics
of Brina here soon.
