i started with brownish discharge on monday 25th august it wasnt a period as i had one on the 11th august i took a pregnancy tst on thusday the 27th august and it was positivei phoned my doctor and he said this sounds like a miscarrage i have been to see the nurse today and i have got to take another test on sunday to see if its still positive if it isnt then will have been a mis. there hasnt been any clots and here is no dischrge now but te doc has really worried me as we have been trying for so long to conceive.

Another pregnancy test (BLOOD test would be more accurate) should make the situation clearer.

If the test is positive and the HCG level doubles on every 2 days the pregnancy is probably developing normally.
If the test is negative either you had miscarriage or your previous test was false positive.
If the blood pregnancy test is positive but the HCG level decreases (or rises slower than it should be) the pregnancy is either somehow disturbed or you have an extra-uterine pregnancy.

You have to consult a gynecologist about your problem.
