I feel like something is wrong, that I shouldn't be this short of breathe and have this much chest pain. Should we do more testing? Is there treatment for any of this or is this really nothing to worry about? I made an appt with a cardiologist but they can't see me for a month. I am having trouble keeping up with the house work and kids due to all this and this isn't like me.

According to the echo-cardiography report, you probably have a kind of heart disorder. According to your ejection fraction, that heart disorder is still well tolerated and does not cause heart failure for now, but the condition may get worse in time depending on its cause. You didn’t tell me anything about the valves’ condition and ventricles’ walls that are also checked with echo-cardiography. Valvular defects (stenosis or regurgitation) can cause pathologic changes of the heart anatomy and even heart failure in time. For example: an enlarged right atrium can be due to tricuspid valve regurgitation or narrowing. Heart failure can be due to various disorders that directly damage the heart (infarct, congenital defects, myocarditis, febris reumatica…) or to disorders out of the heart (hypertension, lung disorders…) that indirectly cause pathologic changes in the heart’s anatomy. For example: long term asthma, that is not controlled well, can cause a kind of heart failure (cor pulmonale) in time.

Your chest pain can be due to narrowing of the coronary arteries (arteries that feed the heart muscle) but that has to be proven with ECG, coronary stress test and coronarography.
You should consult a cardiologist about this.
