the heartburn might be from something your eating too much of, or just not agreeing with you, and thats why you are eating tums all the time when you have heartburn.

I have been told that drinking a glass of milk can help with heartburn. You may want to try that. Hope it helps. Smile

Now that you mention milk, I don't seem to get it when I eat cereal...

Thank you!

Yeah it does help loads. Im propped up in bed half the time, which is annoying because its so uncomfortable. Also, i can NOT lay on my right. Worse pain in the world!

Sitting up a little (propping up with pillows or even propping your mattress up a little) can help so much. Try not eating close to when you may be going to bed or laying down. Do you have a recliner? I highly recommend a recliner for all women in their last few weeks of pregnancy and the first few weeks after the baby gets here. You'll find yourself sleeping sitting up a lot in the coming months.

Have you switched up the tums with rolaids? I like rolaids a lot better!

Believe me, I truly know the feeling!! I just eat tums and also after eating I sit up for a while. That usually helps.. I will be 38 wks tomorrow.
