I'm so sorry for your previous loss!

How could you be only 2 or 3 weeks along and know you were pregnant, hun? When you ovulate, you would be technically about two weeks along (if you had a "normal" 28 day cycle), and then you wouldn't even become pregnant for a while after that. You don't even usually find out until you're about 4 weeks along because this is when the body first begins producing hcg, the hormone home pregnancy tests detect.

Well my last period started April 14th, and just this past week i was feeling sick, so I took a hpt and it said negative, in the morning a second line showed up but very lightly so i went to the doctors that day and did a urine test and it said negative so she did a blood sample just in case and it came back positive she said the hcg levels were very low and i was really early. so i guess i am 4 weeks? I am really scared though. Is there any way to have cramping and slightly heavy bleeding and not be miscarrying?

Oh, I see. It is possible you could be 3 weeks pregnant I suppose if a blood test is what confirmed it.
Oh hun, I feel so bad for you. Cramping I think would be fine, people often feel crampy like their period is right around the corner. But bleeding is not okay.
What color is the blood?
I wouldn't take any chances, I'd call my doctor right away. Sometimes when you find out really early that you're pregnant, these things happen I'm so very very sorry.
Remember that nearly half of pregnancies are thought to result in a miscarriage and most people never even knew they were pregnant because it happens so very early, and it seems just like a normal period.

to me it sounds like a heavy period but get a blood test

well thank you. The cramping has gone away and I've just been laying in bed. But I am still bleeding, its just like when I am on my period. I was just going to wait and call the doctor on Monday but do you suggest I go to the hospital or something instead?

It is like a dark purple red sorta. it looks just like when I am on my period.
and when i start my period my cramps are usually so bad that i am sick to my stomach and cannot move, and these weren't that bad. But other than that everything is the same as if i was just having my period. So I dk. I am trying to stay positive and hoping everything is okay. And just laying around and taking it easy.
