Help getting to see a neurologist Posted: 09-03-08 08:31am
for about 2 years I have to blink
repeatedly to try to focus. have pins and
needle feelings and strange asleep like
sensations and numbness in several body
parts including left cheek. my left hand
has been numb for 5 months. 5 months ago
started having a loud locust sound in my
head. (numbness and sound doesnt go away,
feelings happen sitting laying or
standing) had positive ANA test...2nd one
negative after anti inflammatory meds.
Under Veterans Administration medical
care. How do I get them to send me to a
Neurologist? I know there is something
wrong. I am dropping things and just
having a terrible time. It is getting to
where I can't type, do up my pants, open
things ect. It isn't in my head like they
are trying to imply. When I try to go
shopping I get very light headed and feel
like I am going to pass out. In the heat
I feel like I am barley hanging on by a
thread.
According to your symptoms (numbness,
tinnitus, dizziness, losing some motor
abilities...) you definitely need an
expert opinion from a neurologist.
