This might not be of any help to you, but
I've heard that it sometimes happens when
you 'stop trying'. You know just let it
happen naturally. Dont think so hard about
what you're doing, and let mother nature
do her job! Good luck!

Old wives tale!!! Posted: 08-22-08 14:55pm
My mum always said if you wanna get
pregnant then do a head-stand after sex.
Or raise your legs and lower body against
a wall. That way your just helping the
swimmers along by giving them a boost
towards the right direction. It sounds
real silly i know but it worked for me.
I'll be trying it again in another week
when i ovulate so hope it works again.
All the best!!

Do you know when you are ovulating and are you charting BBT? Posted: 09-01-08 10:18am
Hi there
There are actually only two truly fertile
days in a month you can concieve and sex
for about a week before those two days are
the best to try (if you know what they
are?)
For most couples your age it can take
about 6 months (it goes up to over 80% in
a year) - most couples do need to try for
a little while and that is perfectly
normal - the more fun you have trying the
sooner it happens.
If you are not aware of your ovulation
date, try working back 14 days from when
you expect your next menses - and then you
can get fairly cheap ovulation prediction
strips off ebay to start using about day
11 after your menses starts - they have
full instructions. Also look up about
charting your basal body temperature and
some free trial software called "Taking
charge of your Fertility" - its taken all
the stress out of trying for me and given
me lots to do when I get restless and
impatient about results - best of luck to
you though

someone help me Posted: 09-15-08 00:13am
I am a 28 year old woman I got my period
when I was ten. And then about 12 it
stopped and I maybe had a cycle 3-6 times
ayear until I was 17. I have nwver been
pregnat. I thought I was once but it was
hormonal. I played sports from 6- 12
grade. I don't have a cycle. I get side
affects and symptoms during the time i am
suppose to be on my period. Is there any
thing i can do to get pregnant. And can I
still get pregnat if I don't have a cycle?

Its possible but you would have many
problems unless you go to see your doctor
about restoring your estrogen and
progesterone balances (which will give you
regular cycles and you can tell you when
you ovulate). There may be other reasons
for you not having a cycle and its a good
reason for you to find out what it is if
you are wanting a baby. Sometimes you will
be able to conceive but because of
something like low progesterone you will
simply misscarry before your next cycle.
You can do a bit of research on women with
no cycles but everyone is so different I
cant recomend highly enough that you find
a good doctor to help you so that you can
both conceive plus carry a healthy
pregnancy. good luck
and I wish you all the best!
