High blood pressure, dizzy, nauseous
Posted: 04-25-08 20:59pm

Every couple of months, my blood pressure tends to rise and I get very dizzy, am out of breath, do not have any energy hardly at all. Anytime I stand or try to walk, I feel like I'm going to faint. I also feel a little nauseous. but only while walking. If I sit down I'm fine. This generally lasts for 1-2 days. Do you know what the cause of this could be?

Have you measured your blood pressure constantly for a week or two?
What are your usual readings?

Yes, I have. My readings are normally around 115 over 80.
I checked again today when I knew it was higher than usual and it was 140 over 89. Not too alarmingly high, but still much higher than usual.

Do you measure your pressure when you have the above symptoms and find it raised?
Is this caused by certain situation?
Do you usually get these symptoms in the mornings?
