i take a beta-blocker for my hbp, however
it makes my hair fall out and gives me
chronic constipation. are you aware of
another beta-blocker that doesn't have
these side effects?

What medication are you taking?
Have you mentioned this to the doctor or
pharmacist?

i take lopressor, generic metoprolol, and
i've done quite a lot of research, but i
think it might be a side effect of all
beta-blockers. i'm just not too keen on
going to doctors. (Except my family
doctor, who actually is a friend of the
family.) i would love to find out which
herb does the work of beta-blockers.
thank you for responding.
Hawthorn is considered a first choice herb
for lowering blood pressure. It dilates
blood vessels. I have no experience with
it.
You could post your question in
Alternative Medicine. Someone else might
have more info there.
