High cholesterol, by itself, is not
manifested with any symptoms. High
cholesterol, if not treated, in time, can
cause vascular disorders (atherosclerosis)
that can be manifested with certain
symptoms that can include chest pain and
tachycardia if the heart’s arteries are
affected. Although your high cholesterol
is congenital, I believe that treatment
prevented atherosclerosis so your symptoms
(chest pain and fast heart
rate-tachycardia) are probably due to
something else.
An ECG should be done to exclude various
heart disorders, especially those caused
by coronary atherosclerosis.
You may want to consult your primary
health provider.
