HIV symtoms ?
Posted: 06-09-08 10:30am

About 2 and a half years ago I was seperated from my "than" husband and in the process of a divorce. I met this man who seemed to be the answer to my prayers. I had unprotected sex with him several times as he lied to me and matter of factly in the end I find out he was living with a girl who was pregnant and I guess he intended to marry. I was just being lied to and used. A couple months after we met I got the flu, went to the hospital, was treated and was fine. He also gave me genital warts, which I went to the doctor and was treated and haven't had an outbreak since. GOD HAVE I LEARNED MY LESSONS!!!! Well, to the present day I have met a wonderful man and we want to have children. I haven't had any health problems since the flu 2 and a half years ago until about 6 months ago when I started getting yeast infections about 2 weeks before my period. How annoying. I finally went to the doctors and she did a culture. Come to find out I had bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection. This has been about 2 weeks now and I seem symptom free. I too looked up frequent yeast infections and HIV popped up! That is when I went to my doctor. She assured me I had nothing to worry about, but I find myself up at night and it is consuming my thougts! What should I do? I am afraid of everything now!

get tested for HIV. Once it comes back negative you can forget about it.

I used to get frequent yeast infection and BV and since than had several HIV test and currently negative. So in other words, frequent yeast infection does not indicate a hiv infection.
