Q: Home pregnancy tests and missed periods

this is about my 14 year old daughter.she is bipolar and takes 150 mg of seriquil and theres a chance she may be pregnant,i don't know yet she says nothings happened but she is almost 5 weeks late and has never been this late before and theres a chance she could have lied about having her last period.she doesnt want to go to the doctor but she going.the thing is i need to know whats the risk that could have already been done to the baby if she is pregnant.and been taking the meds the whole time with out me knowing she was pregnant.please give me some kind of an answer

She doesn’t need to go to a gynecologist to find out if she is pregnant or not. She can simply perform a home pregnancy test.








If the test is negative then everything is ok because irregular periods are usual for that age.


If the test is positive you should bring her to a gynecologist as soon as possible.
