Hoping I get lucky this month
Posted: 03-03-08 21:37pm

So my period is due either today or tomorrow, and no signs of it showing up...!!!! yes yes I have been really tired over the weekend and today my boobs feel a little sore, and I have been having mild cramps very low in my pelvis for the past 2-3 days.

If af is still not here on wednesday I will prolly take a test then, or I might wait until the weekend.

Anyone else testing this week???

Thank You both...I am not getting excited (well trying not to)...But I feel the same way that I did the last time I was pregnant except I didnt get these symptoms untill 2 weeks after my period was supposed to come.

My boobs hurt more today than they did last night, and I also started burping today (which was actually the 1st symptom I remember getting last time).

Im taking a test in the morning so Ill let you know the results.

I got a urine test yesterday at the doctors [five days late today.], & to my disappointment it was a negative but I think you just might be honestly, cause I experienced the same thing except it wasn't until after I missed my period - another symptom I had was a very light, spotty, short "period" bout a good four days before my real period was due & I have a regular 28 day cycle with a normal five days period - except that one lasted three days. I'm still feeling symptoms even after the negative, which makes me kind of happy cause it still gives me hope. I just hope it's not my mind getting the best of me. I believe I forgot to mention between the 11th-21st of February of this year, me & my boyfriend had unprotected every day between those days, multiple times a day, exactly around the time I ovulated.

Here's my symptoms even after a negative urine test :

+Nauseated - actually threw up in my mouth alittle bit yesterday.
+Sore breast & nipples & they seem to be alittle bigger - atleast alittle more cramped in my bra than usual - the thing about them being tender is it's not all day it really depends on what time of day it is (as weird as that sounds).
+I really don't feel myself to tell you the truth.
+Bloated to the extreme.
+Starting to use the bathroom a lot more.
+Really tired lately but finding it hard to sleep since my mind has been on this whole pregnancy thing. Although, when I'm awake I feel as though I didn't sleep enough even if I slept for twelve hours.
+Short frequent mild headaches.
+I can see blue veins on my breast.

But good luck if you are trying to get pregnant, :]. Keep me updated.

I'm sure you're confused as hell right now, but trust me so am I. What I didn't like about the doctors appt for the urine test though was that I took it at 3:45PM. That's definitely not the time you're "supposed" to take it. Anyways, I'm really sorry it was negative, but like you said just give it time. Honestly, haha, I don't see how you can keep your mind off "being pregnant", I know I sure as hell can't.

Laughing Just wanted to say that I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. I agree that you should def. wait another week or so and then test again. My husband and I have been trying for the past 10 months to get pregnant with our first child so I know how heartwrenching it can be to get that negative test. I'm hoping that this is our month, too! I will keep my fingers crossed for you and everyone else hoping that "this is the month"!

It definitely was hard actually when they told me it was negative. But after reading all these posts on how some women didn't get a positive til they were eight weeks all the way till they were six months is still giving me hope. Plus still having symptoms is really helping me stay sane atleast. Goodness though, 10 months huh? After that long, I'll definitely have you somewhere in my prayer. Good luck, stay strong :].

Tia, do you temp or use opk's at all? You may have ovulated a few days later this cycle and that is why it is taking your bfp longer to show up.

I really hope this is it for you!!!!! When are you planning on testing again?

Actually I am going to take a test tomorrow morning. When I was pregnant last time and I tested when my period was 2 weeks late using first responce early result as soon as you see it go across the window both lines showed up.

So when I took the test this morning I watched it go across the screen and only one line came up so I threw it away (about 30 seconds), well I went back like an hour later and looked at it again and there was a faint pink line. Now I dont know if it was negative and an evaporation like, or a faint positive since I only waited maybe 5 seconds after you see it cross the window (30 seconds total)....so I went and bought another test and Im gonna take it in the morning.

But I did not temp or use OPK's...

There was a faint pink line on a FRER? Those are really reliable tests, and known for not giving evaps, especially when they are pink!!!

I wouldn't be surprised at all if you get a really nice pink line tomorrow!!!

I am hoping so yes but trying to not get my hopes up....although I feel stupid for only waiting 30 seconds, I never thought that since I had more hormone last time that it would take longer then that for a faint line to come up....duhhh Confused

I might even take one in about 30 minutes, cuz i have been trying to not pee for since for the past 4 hours (man thats hard)
