My niece is 34 years old. The doctor last year put her on hormones and paxil (for depression), thinking she is perimenopausal. Her dhea is in the 600's and her testosterone is extremely high also. A new doctor took her off hormones and put her on effexir (for depression). Isn't it dangerous to have a dhea level that high?
