my cousin just got married last weekend
and they looked like the happiest couple
i'd ever seen...i've been dating my
boyfriend now for 2 years...but i just
cant see me getting married...right now
anyway, maybe its just the timing..or
maybe i'm afraid of commitment..i'm 21 and
still in college that could have something
to do with it, he's pretty much my first
everything, and though I cant imagine
being without him....we dont bring up the
future often..both of us are just sort of
living in the moment, seeing where things
go..and if marriage comes up we dont talk
much about it...i just say i'm not ready
and neither is he...anyway...how did you
know the person you found was it for you?
did you know from the moment you met, or
was it something that just happened?

I met my hubby when we were 16. I like him
as a friend but was never really attracted
to him in that way. Our friendship
continued and was rock solid from day 1.
When I was 19 he came over for a visit. I
cannot tell you why this happened other
than it being love. I saw him for the 1st
time. He looked so amazing and gorgeous
and I was shocked at how attracted and
drawn to him I was. I mean I saw and
talked to him all the time for 3 years
already. It was like a feeling or a nudge
deep inside of me that was completely
aware and awakened by him. Shortly after
that we began dating and it was like any
new couple. Lust and hunger and happiness.
We were already so close as friends that
our feelings just increased. We dated for
a month when he died.
I got a call that he was on life support
and they didnt know if he would make it.
He went into seizures from huffing butane,
so it was drug induced. They had to shock
him 4 times. he died and was brought back.
he remained in a coma for 10 days and the
doctors didnt detect any brain activity.
We didnt know how he would come back.
I never felt so lost in my entire life. My
heart was ripped out. Then I knew he was
the one. God told me that he was going to
be ok and that we still had time. I just
couldnt understand why he would be taken
when we just started to be together after
all those years. So I had to lose my love
to know he was the one.
he woke up after 10 days and didnt
remember a week before the accident. He
acted like a small child for 2-3 months.
He was different than the man I fell in
love with.
Its been 2 1/2 yrs since then and he is
back to his normal self. His short term
memory is pretty much shot. Other than
that hes the same.
So thats how I knew. Cant wait to hear
more stories!
