Ive been trying to stop for a while now
but i cant stop. Im having such a hard
time with things right now my life isnt
going so great. Ive been so depressed and
angry recently. I dont want to go back to
cutting so what are some things that i can
do when i feel like i want to cut?

If you are very scared and need someone to
talk to right away, there are hotlines out
there that can help you.
Here is a self injury hotline:
1-800-DONT CUT (1-800-366-8288)
Here is a depression and suicide hotline:
1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433)
These people are great at helping you work
out your problems and start to find ways
to help yourself if nobody else is
available (in person, or nobody is online
at the time).
I would love to help you if possible as
well. What is giving you the urge to cut?
Why have you been depressed? If you can
get to the root of the problem and start
to work through it you will feel really
accomplished and the urge to cut should
slightly go down.
Until then, there are many other healthier
things you can do instead of cut yourself.
For example, try using a rubberband on
your wrist and snapping it every time you
get the urge to cut. That way you get the
pain, but its much less severe on your
body and slightly better.

Im failing a few classes at school and im
very affraid that i might not pass this
year. If im not getting good grades or not
keeping up with my work my parents wont
let me go to karate. Karate is a good
outlet for my anger so when im not able to
do karate thats when things start falling
apart. I have a few good friends from
karate and school but i still always feel
really alone and not important. At school
im always being teased and bullied for no
realy reason. When i get home things dont
get much better. My dad is never really
home but when he is he is always yelling
at me or fighting with me he has also hit
me a few times and left a few bruises. My
mom dosnt help me much either. i fight
with her allot to and she puts allot of
pressure on me about grades but she dosnt
really help. My parents fight with each
other allot so thats kinda hard to deal
with too. im really stressed out right now
and im having a really hard time.
