How Do You Know If You Need New Eyeglasses? Posted: 06-27-05 11:44am
Hi, I am a 21 year old college student
from ohio. I have worn eyeglasses for a
while and wear them for driving during the
day and night and also wear them for
distance reading and college. Recently I
find that when I wear my eyeglasses my
eyes hurt and it still feels like it is a
little hard to see sometimes especially
when I drive at night and try to read
signs. So, I am thinking I may need new
eyeglasses. I have already made an
appointment, but it is not for another 3
weeks. So, does anyone know the signs of
needing new glasses? Thanks -matt

If things start to look not as clear as it
was before... Then thats a sign of
needing new glasses. You can tell easily
by putting on ur glasses in the morning
after a good night sleep.. Because your
eyes are relaxed.... But another reason
that you might not be able to see
extremely clearly... Is pby because your
eyes are tired... You need to relax after
a while of using glasses.. Don't
concentrate of one area for over 10
minutes... Esp. Computer.. Take ur eyes
off it.. And look at something else...
Like green trees or something... Then
you'll feel better... Because if your
eyes are tired...... You won't be able to
see all that clear... Your eyes are
fluctuating. Good luck!! :)
