Just a quick thing to post; afterwards, post your reasons, and why you voted the way you did.

I'll admit that I feel sincere pity for you if you are truly a woman, and I will admit the scientific truth that an unborn zygote/embryo/fetus is a potential child and no more than that.

Now, fair is fair. How about you admit that you come from a site full of homicidal maniacs bent on killing anyone that works in a clinic designed to keep women healthy and also advocates invading the privacy of every woman in the US by taking pictures of her whilst she's entering a clinic for a pap and posting it on the web?

While we're at it, let's talk about HPV and the women who have contracted it thanks to you and your friends doing everything they possibly can to prevent them from not only accessing proper and safe birth control but female health care as well?

Your imaginary "womb children" have yet to make an appearance little girl, but thousands of living, breathing women all over this planet are suffering cancers and disease that could have otherwise been avoided if it weren't for your psycho friends bombing and threatening their health clinics and workers.

Maybe you think it's your purpose in life as a female to suffer and maybe you're willing to get HPV from your husband because you trust him to be faithful and you're thick enough to think you were his first, but your self-martyrdom doesn't expand to the rest of us nor does it give you authority to put the rest of us at risk.

Worry about your own body for a change.

Did you know that homicide is the leading cause of death of pregnant women?

So true and so terrible. If I had the means and the legal certificate I would dedicate my life to hunting these dogs down.

Coerced abortion through violence is no choice. I am pro-choice.

No need to ask who the perpetrators are I suppose...

I chose the first one...I think it's still killing but it's legal so who am I to say that someone can't do it if they deem it necessary for themselves.

Abortion kills a POTENTIAL child. I'm not going to "admit" that it's a real child, but I'll admit it's a living fetus/embryo that has a good chance of becoming a child. I agree with the law in terms of when it's okay. I really only "like" abortions for medical reasons or because birth control failed because I think too many people are relying on abortion instead of being responsible about their birth control. However, I'm not looking for the law on abortion to change, regardless of how much I "dislike" the other types of abortion.

"Child" can simply mean offspring, and that literally is what a fetus is. So yes, abortion kills a child. But sometimes, it's OK. So that option was worded exactly for my beliefs!!

Since it's an opinionated poll, it's my opinion that abortion doesn't kill a "child", especially not an early term abortion. In official forms, while pregnant, one doesn't mark down that they have a child. While a women may consider it her "child" while pregnant, I don't. I consider it an embryo or a fetus until it's viable and I'll admit that it's living.

It's only potentially a child to the parents who want it.

Well, opinion or not, the word "child" is accurate to describe the unborn whether you like that fact or not.

I don't come from homicidal maniacs; where did you get that impression? And I don't support people taking pictures of women; it IS an invasion of privacy. I wouldn't want someone taking a picture of me like that. I don't agree with abortion, but wouldn't do that!!!!

While we are at it, lets talk about the 40-50 million people that would be walking around today if they hadn't been aborted. Sad, huh? The women are important to me, too, and I treat them just like their children and kids: with respect.

URRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! Can't anyone see how unfair this is? Do I have any supprt here? I come here and get bombarded with what I 'believe' when I don't believe it at all. It's quite annoying!!! I wouldn't agree with those threatening to bomb, kill, or do anything; 'it is not good to do an intrinsically evil act so good may come of it.' That's my motto.

My own body is healthy thank you. But when it involves killing a child or trying to stop one from being killed, I feel the need to do something. Wouldn't you? If you saw someone about to kill a little girl, wouldn't you do something about it? I would.

Well, then, what is the embryo/fetus? A baby cow? What about a dog? Oooo...or it could be a frog!!!! It is a baby human. Since when did you have to be viable to be human???

Who are you to say that killing a born person is bad, either? If that was legal, would you be all for it?

Where did I say it wasn't a human? I'd like to see that. It's not a CHILD in my opinion, but please, continue stretching your words to suit your desires.

And Tylanas, the whole poll is OPINION. It may be an accurate word, but it's just as much as embryo/fetus. Abortion kills one of those, in my opinion. Just like how in her opinion it's never right, is her opinion wrong too? Because according to the law, it is.

If someone is 8 weeks pregnant, and you ask how many children they have, the answer is NONE. So how does abortion involve killing a child?

Oh...I guess every time someone has an abortion, they go down to the local school and shoot one?

By denying it to be a child, you are denying it any form of status, and IF some alien came here, didn't know our scientific terms and heard people saying "I am having an embryo!" They would know what that was? You would have to explain that an embryo is a baby human!
Seriously, have you ever heard a woman say, "hi!!! Did you know I am pregnant with an embryo right now???" She says instead, "I am pregnant." And that word literally means, "having a child or other offspring developing in the body; with child or young, as a woman or female mammal." Notice that is the FIRST definition on dictionary.com.
According to the law, a long time ago, slavery was fine too. Should we continue this debate?

Yes, that's because they are not caring for it physically, even though it is living in the mother. Because child literally means human fetus, according to dictionary.com!!!

Child:
1. a person between birth and full growth; a boy or girl: books for children.
2. a son or daughter: All my children are married.
3. a baby or infant.
4. a human fetus.

How does abortion involve killing a child:

IT IS A CHILD according to the dictionary. therefore when you have an abortion, you kill a child.

Hmmm...no...because a fetus is a child it kills a child. End of story.

Your opinion doesn't quite matter when the FACT is that "child" means offspring and an embryo/fetus is OFFSPRING.

I honestly feel the option "It's not a child!" shouldn't even be ON there, since it IS a child, fact and point. I can say the sky is green all day long, but it's still blue.
