I don't see my doctor for another 2 weeks and i cant get into see her before then as shes backed up . But i really need Advice now as I'm getting sick all the time i get that its part of being pregnant but i cant keep water down i cant move to fast and every 5 minutes I'm throwing up . So I'm wondering if i go to the hospital are they just going to say I'm pregnant or will they actually give me something and is it okay to take gravel my boyfriend is being very anal about me taking stuff that says do not take if pregnant but the doctors said it was Okay when my sister was pregnant to take. Any advice would be great guys thanks

If you cant keep water down, I would suggest you phone your doctor and tell them whats going on. Even if you cant get in to see the doctor, they might tell you to go to the hospital because the last thing you want is to become dehydrated. That would be bad for you and the baby. I know a lot of nausea comes with pregnanct so thats not what I would be worried about but if you cant keep water down, something may be really wrong.
Also, about taking meds, Id ask in the call too, every pregnancy is different and what is safe for one might not be for another one. Im in my 7th month, and my boyfriend is the same way, so I asked my doctor for a list of meds that were safe to take. your doctor might be able to give you one too. to put your mind and your boyfriends mind at ease.
I hope this helps a bit and you get better. Good luck with your pregnancy

hey hun! I am experiencing it really bad too. not as bad, but try drinking something besides water like crystal lite or something, that helped me with my first pregnancy! And always eating small things, snacking lots. I can't even stand out of bed in the mornings without eating some crackers first. so that is helping for me. i hope everything goes well for you, good luck at your doctors appointment. !

I do not have vomitting/nausea issues as bad as the original poster does, however maybe this can help someone who has it lightly.

When I get nausea, I just drink or eat ginger related items such as ginger chews or ginger ale to help my stomach. Also something that helps me control it is eating frequently, small meals/snacks, and eating really slow. This has helped my nausea quite a bit. The only time I get that feeling is when I eat too fast, over eat, or do not eat enough or do not have anything in my system at all. I hope this helps.
