I took a hpt this morning and I thought I seen a very faint line and then I held it up to the light and i could see 2 lines. what does this mean???

What kind of hpt is it? Do 2 lines mean it's positive? Is your period late?

Ok so a second line is a positive result. Well no matter how faint it is, it's still a positive. My first two tests were reeeeally faint positives & I did a digital the next day which confirmed it. I'd do another test in the next couple of days if I were you. If you are pregnant there won't be enough hCG in your urine to produce a strong positive yet. Good luck.. I hope you get the result you want!

Make sure you follow the direction, exactly. A few times, I went back to the pregnancy test ten min. later and saw an extra line. It ended up being an evaporation line. I wasn't pregnant. If you did look within three min. (or whatever the drections say) chances are you're pregnant.
