I have been diagnosed with IBS several
years ago. It seemed like I had a couple
of really bad bouts with food poisoning
and have never been the same since. But
now I have constant cramping and urgent
bowel movements, I am naseaus a lot and
just generally have a lot of stomach
trouble. But to make things much worse,
Shortly after I had the IBS problems
begin, I started having fainting spells.
They would come completley randomly, but
almost always when I was having an IBS
attack of some sort, either when I was
using the toilet and had diahrea or when I
was cramping up and needed to use the
toilet or something of that nature. I
have probably fainted 10 times in the last
four years. Some of the times were at
home, once in a very dirty public
restroom, twice in the car (thankfully as
a passenger). I wonder if anyone else has
experienced anything like this. I am now
constanlty fearful and anxious about my
next attack. It consumes my life.

Well i know that i suffer from anxiety
now, but I have anxiety attacks often when
i am going somewhere far from home or
something that makes me very nervous, but
when i have the anxiety attacks i never
actually faint. I really feel like my
fainting spells cause the anxiety not that
the anxiety causes the fainting spells.
They feel very different to me. Some
doctors have commented on me having low
blood pressure and that the cramping and
stomach problems will trigger the vesal
vegal nerve that will cause my blood
pressure to drop and since it is already
low then it drops it to a low enough level
that I loose conciousness. I don't know
if you have ever heard anything like this.
