I got a paper from my doctors office, and
I thought I would share the things that
were on it with everyone!
%u2665About 10-20% of teenage pregnancies
are planned.
%u2665The average weight gained during
pregnancy is 26-32 pounds.
%u2665100 million or more sperm are
deposited in the vagina during
ejaculation. But only a few thousand get
to the Fallopian tubes, and only about 200
get near the egg.
%u266525% of unmarried adolescent girls
who give birth become pregnant again
within a year.
%u2665Among couples who have intercourse
regularly without contraception 25% of
women are pregnant within 1 month, 63%
after 6 months, and 80& after 1 year.
%u2665Some men experience SYMPATHETIC
pregnancy--nausea, abdominal pain and
vomiting--along with the pregnant women.
%u2665As many as 75% of all fertilized
eggs do not become viable fetuses.
%u2665More than 1 million American
teenagers become pregnant every
year.(including about 30,000 under age
15)
%u2665At 16 weeks, the human fetus is 6
inches long and has all its organs
formed.
%u2665If ejaculation occurs on or near the
labia, sperm can make their way to the
uterus and impregnate the woman without
penetration.
There was alot more, but I'm tired of
typing! Enjoy!

♥The average weight gained

pounds.
BS! That's how much you are SUPPOSED to
gain... That has to be different for first
time pregnancies...

I've noticed that girls on here like to
argue. I'm sorry, but I was posting this
for fun. Like I said, I got this from my
DOCTOR. Why would it be published if it
isn't true? It's a statistic.

Yes, I think the difference here that
should be noted is that they are not all
facts per say, but statistics, which try
to come as close to fact as possible. It
is difficult with any statistic because no
one can control every factor within a
situation. They also only take into
account studies or surveys of people they
have come into contact with to account
for. I think we all know which ones are
facts and which are statistics here, and
if someone doesn't know, then feel free to
PM me.
Sorry someone had to lash out at you like
that. If you find a post offensive to
you, you can always report it, ambera.

most doctors say weight gained during
pregnancy ranges from15-15 pounds, thats
the average, but some gain a little more
than others.
What doctors say and what actually happens
are 2 different things, not everything a
doctor says is exactaly what happens.

Heres some I found online
The world's first test tube twins are
Stephen and Amanda Mays born June 5,
1981.
Some people drink the urine of pregnant
women to build up their immune system.
The first known contraceptive was
crocodile dung, used by Egyptians in 2000
B.C.
Every day, over 1,300 babies are born
prematurely in the USA.
During pregnancy, the average woman's
uterus expands up to five hundred times
its normal size.
Changing a cat's litter box can be
dangerous to pregnant women, as cat feces
sometimes carry a parasite that can cause
harm to the developing baby.
A pregnant woman's dental health can
affect her unborn child.
May babies are on avearge 200 grams
heavier than babies born in other months.
When a women is pregnant, her senses are
all heightened.
Studies show that couples that smoke
during the time of conception have a
higher chance of having a girl compared to
couples that do not smoke.

EWWWWW! LOL I think I'd rather be sick and
fertile! That one about the May babies
being heavier is interesting. I wonder why
that is?

ughhh...that made me gag.
I don't know but my doctor said the same
thing about the weight. I've only gained
30 lbs. and my cousin a little bit more
than that, I don't know the exact weight.
My friend Cyndi gained probably about 28.
So it seems pretty normal to me.

I wasn't trying to argue, sorry. I guess
I'm not good at being funny...
It's supposed to be 25-35 if you are
normal weight, that's why my doctor yelled
at me because I was already 200 pounds
when I start, I was only supposed to gain
15. Yea right, lol.
Apparently, male sperm swim faster and die
faster than girl sperm, so trying before
you ovulate makes it more possible to have
a girl because there's no egg there when
the male get there and they die, but then
the girl shows up! Of course, it's not
100%, but it helps.

Hehe, sometimes it just doesn't look the
same when you type it in when you are
trying to be funny...I've seen this happen
all the time lol. It's really hard when
you can't see the person's face and some
people have different kinds of humor.
Mine is mostly either dry or sarcastic
which is easier said than put on paper.
It's taken me a while to learn phrase
things so people don't take it the wrong
way because they used to a lot and I had
quite a few angry people on my hands.
OH yeah, about the boy and girl sperm
thing... I heard about that too, so I
always tried to get that TTC stuff right
when I was ovulating because my husband
wanted a boy. One of six lol....it's
hard! Better luck with that next time
(although I don't mind girls one bit!!)
The funny thing about the weight gain for
me though is that I gained exactly 30 lbs
with all 6 of my pregnancies whether I was
able to lose the weight after each
pregnancy or not. It didn't matter how I
ate or what I ate. It was always 30 lbs.
So I feel you there sister...sometimes you
just wish your doc would go jump in a lake
