I recently started painting and i dont know why but i just felt like seeing how the paint thinner smelled so i whiffed it and then i read and saw that it was dangerous to even be around it for too long! Does anyone know if what i have done is too serious? If so, what are the problems that may happen and what should i do? I am an athlete so this really isn't good.

thank you for your help!

Hi Amov

No, as long as you are not putting the bottle up to your nose, and deeply inhaling, it won't hurt .... however, try and keep in a well ventalated area, and keep the lid on it when you aren't using it.
When you say 'painting' do you mean on a canvas, or as a decorator?
Just curios !
