i know i have posted similar questions
before, but just haven't got the answers
i'm looking for. here is my question:
around the 22-24th of this month, i am
expecting my period. i know that because i
had taken a dose of plan b a few weeks
ago, that will mess my cycle up a bit. a
few weeks ago, i had sex and the condom
had broke so i took plan b immediately,
both pills as directed. my boyfriend and i
had proceded to have sex the next day, and
the condom broke AGAIN (we had switched to
a bad brand i think) so i had called up
the pharmacy before doing some research
and they told me to NEVER EVER take 2
doses of plan b at such a close time
period.
should i be worried about possibly being
pregnant? i took plan b 2 weeks ago from
tomorrow (friday) and had started lutera
the beginning of this week. i'm trying my
hardest not to stress, but i am getting
mixed answers in regards what to do.
should i purchase an at home pregnancy
test?
when i was prescribed my birth control,
exactly a week after the plan b incident,
i was given a pregnancy test at the
clinic, and they said that they would call
me if any of the results had shown up
positive. is one week too early for
pregnancy to be detected?
please let me know if i am just paranoid,
thank you very much and i appreciate any
advice

Yes. One week is too early for pregnancy
to be detected.
You can purchase a home pregnancy test if
you wish. The best results come 10 -14
days after conception. So if it was 2
weeks from your broken condom, you could
start testing. Use your first morning
urine.
Don't stress out about it. Your period may
very well be late or delayed because of
all the hormones in your system (plan b
hormones!).
