jaw protruding due to bad teeth work ?
Posted: 03-27-08 00:24am

hi, I have been bulimic for almost 16 years, 3 years ago I had a lot of work done to fix the erosions, but since then I am good sensitivity wise but not else, I am in constant pain in my head, my jaws, want to crush them, the lower one looks like it is dropped and square and both of them are out not like before, I had that before but when I don't vomit for sometime it goes back to normal, now it is constant, I am very devastated by this, to the point where I am suicidal, my face now looks like I have double face, god I want to die, I feel like hitting my face all the time with a hammer, if I take my last molars out would that get my jaw small again, what should I do? what kind of surgery? how much is the cost, every doctor says different things, I am very frustrated, I just want specific answer so when I go to the doctor I tell them exactly what I want, do I need a plastic surgeon, what kind? how much, sorry for so many q. I am so lost and depressed, thanks for the help

i think that it is very possible. when you vomit your jaw opens and juts forward. you may have stretched the muscles and trained them to a place where it isnt good for your jaw to be in. try a neuromuscular dentist. tell them everything. they can help you
