Kissing?
Posted: 04-03-06 16:05pm

Hi

im meeting a girl, shes coming to mine.

We wont have sex, but I think we will kiss, shes 19, I am 22, what can I catch from kissing her?

Shes only ever slept with 2 guys, and shes really shy, so I dont think she has anything.

But its like, theres no way of telling is there, so if we kiss, its just a gamble?

What am I likely to catch, if anything?

Thanks

matt

Haha ..First off I just had to get my laugh out...

You seem like a very very paranoid person...Maybe you shouldnt kiss the girl until you talk with her and get to know her better..There are things you can catch when kissing someone..

Lol - I know how funny it sounds, I do honestly.

I am a little paranoid when it comes to my health, but people kiss each other all the time, so the chances must be small right?

The only real thing im worried about is hiv, I only just became single, after 5 years, so this is all new to me lol, just would rather be safe than sorry.

kissing

at the moment, scientific opinion is pretty clear that you cannot become infected with hiv through kissing.

To become infected with hiv you must get a sufficient quantity of hiv into the bloodstream. Saliva does contain hiv, but the virus is only present in very small quantities and as such, cannot cause hiv infection.

Unless both partners have large open sores in their mouths, or severely bleeding gums, there is no transmission risk from mouth-to-mouth kissing.
