I've looked around and get mixed answers
for all my questions so maybe someone can
help me.
Me and my boyfriend had sex for the first
time a few weeks ago (2 weeks give or
take). We've done it maybe 3 times since.
He wasn't wearing a condom at any time,
but I am on birth control. He never
ejaculated inside me, and it was only for
a brief period of time we "did it" (I've
read about pre ejaculate and I understand
it has sperm), but my period is late.
Though its only been one day, I'm a little
paranoid. I've read that when losing your
viginity, you can be delayed a few days.
Also, I've heard that stress and worrying
about your period can delay it also.
Should I be worried at this time or should
I wait a while before I should start to
worry? Thank You.
*I forgot to mention that I am very
regular and it almost always happens on
time.

If you have been faithfully taking yoru
birth control you are pretty safe.
How late is your period? Why haven't you
taken a pregnancy test?

As long as you take your birth control on
time, you are 99% protected even if he
were to ejaculate inside of you. I would
not worry if you are taking it correctly.
Even if your period is not normally late,
it happens due to stress and other
factors.

Its only been a day that I missed it, but
I'll go get a test. Could exercise cause
the delay? I just recently joined the gym
and have been going almost everyday, I
work out on the machines for about an
hour/ hour and a half Mon-Fri.

regular but we never use condoms. but my
period is always late and i freak out
everytime... last month it was late it
came on the 12 so i figured it would
comethis month on the 12 but it didnt.. i
already took a test to see if i was
pregnant but it said i was negative.. idk
if im using the wrong test or if i just
have to much stress but i just dont know
what to do.. im just really scared because
im not ready to have a kid.. and even if
he says the didnt bust in me i stil think
he does cause he wants a kid by me really
bad... i dont know what to do.. im just
scared and i think about getting my period
so much that it freaks me out, like i go
in the mirror to see if my tummy is geting
round. seriously i really do just help me

Really fit people can sometimes have
delayed periods, yes. Also birth control
makes your period really light and
sometimes people even skip a month for no
real reason.

If you don't want to get pregnant, why
aren't you taking steps to prevent that?
You aren't using condoms, you aren't on
birth control, where exactly do you think
babies come from?
From your situation, I'd say at the very
least you need birth control pills.

I agree. Why on earth would you never use
condoms or birth control if you don't want
to be pregnant? If you are worried about
cost, the cost of raising a baby is a lot
more than the cost of buying a box of
condoms. You can get birth control pills
for free at planned parenthood without
your parents knowing.

I got my period today. I think it was from
worrying about it to much and my constant
exercise that cause it to be late. Thank

just heard so many rumors that the pills
make you gain weight and it messes up your
period and i dont know im just scared.. i
just really hate doctors. i really do idk

To be truthful, babies make you gain more
weight than the pill. Additionally, you'll
have to the doctor WAY more if you get
pregnant than you would if you got on
birth control.
No two birth control experiences are going
to be the same. Some women LOVE the pill.
Others can't deal with the hormones. You
won't know unless you try it for
yourself.
As for heat of the moment - please, you
know in the heat of the moment that
pregnancy is a risk and if condoms are
there and available not using them is like
playing Russian roulete. Why would you do
that?

You think you hate doctors now? Continue
on the path you're on and you will be
seeing one very regularly. And it's not
just them checking your belly. You get a
pelvic exam all the time, they take your
blood all the time, and if you're lucky
enough to be RH- like me, you even get
some shots in your butt.
It's not fun.
Then I haven't even begun discussing labor
and delivery. Wooooooo

Being in the heat of the moment is a
really pathetic excuse for not using birth
control. Its very simple...if you don't
want a child then use protection! I doubt
you will think that "the moment" was so
worth while, if you become pregnant.
