I am almost 9 weeks pregnant, and yesterday I noticed light pink and light brown/clear discharge. Is this normal?

spotting
Yes this is completely normal. The exact thing happened to me at 10 weeks and I made my husband rush me to the ER. I also called my ob. She didn't seem concerned and told me to relax, but I know me and for my own piece of mind I still went to the ER. They checked me out took my blood, told me my cervix was nice and tight and the spotting was comming from around the cervical opening, not inside it. They also said it was VERY common. Pink, brownish or both mixed is nothing to worry about as long as you are not soaking through a pad and hour. Red is also common, but personally I would get seen stat. Better to be told your overeacting, then you should have come in...Best of luck
