Melanoma symptoms ? Posted: 05-09-08 05:38am


My brother just had his second bx done and dr. said it's not ringworm or the itchy bug rash. He thinks it's Melanoma, but can you have them all over? He's got like 18 just on legs alone. No other symptoms other than them starting out pink then going purple. They eventually scab over then itch.

Does he have the lesions anywhere else besides the leg? Do the lesions tend to bleed or ooze? Do they start as a pink flat or raised lesion (were these changes on previously existing moles or they developed from normal appearing skin)?
