I am 54. Three wks ago I developed mysterious patches on each cheek. The Dr. Diagnosed this as melasma. I then did research and came across a source that linked melasma with possible ovarian carcinoma. Does anyone know anything about this?

Any slight change in hormones in a woman can also cause melasma and we need not jump to a conclusion about any illnesses like that.
