Menopause is defined as a lack of menstruation for more than a year. So, you shouldn’t have menstruation (amenorrhea) for more than a year to confirm that you are in menopause. Before that final menorrhea, the cycle is usually irregular and is called pre-menopause. This means that you can’t be in menopause but only in pre-menopause. Your symptoms could be due to pre-menopause (fatigue, ear drumming, itching inside the body and body numbness) but other symptoms could be due to osteoporosis and arthritis (lower back pain and joint problem) or pharyngitis (sore throat).
You may want to consult your GP and your gynecologist for a precise diagnosis.
