I got my periods on the 10/05/2008 and it
was finish on the 11/05/2008 after that it
was just brown stuff I took a pregnancy
test and it showed negetive but I just
want to know if it is normal to get my
periods like that.Normaly I get my periods
for 5 to 6 days but for the last 2 months
now already my periods was faiding away
and this month it was just for 2 days. I
don't know what to think anymore and I
have picked up alot of weight. I would
like to know if it is normal.
Menstruation normally lasts 3-7 days.
Menstruation that lasts 1-2 days is not
normal (hypomenorrhea). Irregular cycles
and hypomenorrhea could be due to a
disturbance in the axis
hypothalamus-pituitary-ovaries. That
disturbance combined with being overweight
could indicate Poly-cystic ovarian
syndrome (PCOS).
You may want to consult your gynecologist
about this.
