mercury poisoning
Posted: 02-22-08 16:17pm

Okay, I've been sick for a few months now. I've been to a cardiologist, urologist, and gastroenterologist, and they all say I'm healthy. My grossly overpaid physician, says it's depression. Now, I've argued with him over and over that the sickness came first and then the depression. He disagrees, tells me to double the evilness that is Cymbalta, and breaks my bank account. Before I got sick, I was starting to have dental work done as I've just gotten insurance. Part of the work I was getting was fillings, amalgam. Now, I was ignorant to the fact that this was even an issue, but apparently it's bad for you. I won't go into the medical repsonibilities that were shunned whn making these things available. However, a few days after I got my fillings, I woke up one morning to find a piece of it in my mouth. I didn't think anything of it at the time and put it behind me. After doing my research, I realized that I have many of the symptoms that the poisoning has. So, I guess my question is, how do I get tested for this? I mean, I've read simple blood tests don't tell you anything. How do I get a physician, or rather, what kind of physician do I see to get these tests done? I"m tired of hurting as it's completely screwed my life up. Can someone help, please?

well--what kind of fillings do you have? are they the silver kind or porcelin? the firs thing id do is if you have the silver fillings is to get them relplaced by porcelin. then go to your gp and tell him that you want to be tested for mercury poisoning. I know that mercury can make you sick and i would rahter not hear of someone suffereing from this. pleas get in and get tested asap.

Well, silver, but the doctors... all of them, have pretty much dismissed this idea. Im not sure why as it seems so obvious. I'm pretty much at my wits end because I've lost my job and insurance and doctors won't see me now. It's terrible how the medical field is all about money over life... but I digress. Thanks for your help.

My dentist told me it is safer to leave silver fillings where they are as disturbing them can cause bigger problems. But I have many and they are starting to come loose (I have had them a long time!) and coincidentally I have started developing various health problems. You can be tested for mercury poisoning by certain companies online for about $100. I am thinking about it!

No, two dentists told me that removing them would mean releasing mercury into the bloodstream and that would be more risky than just leaving them where they were. I intend to get another opinion, though, and especially after reading what you have said, Tmddyan.

yeah it just seemed weird to me that they said that. having those fillings in there gives you a supply of mercury in your system by those fillings leaching the mercury into your system. does that make sence?

I know - it seems crazy! having them at all is unsafe but removing them is worse! Sad

That's what I'm deciding right now. I just came to the conclusion today that what the hell? The pain cannot be much worse. I'm making an appointment and getting these things out of me. Then doing the detox and with any hope, I'll get to feeling better. Now, anyone know how to detox safely? My doctor laughs at me when I ask him... and yeah, he's no longer my doctor. Ass... lol

I try to keep my spirits high, but it's hard. And thanks for your input. My family is about at their wits end with me. They're starting to think it's all in my head, too. Trust me when I say, I know the difference between real pain and psychological pain.

ok...in addition get on wheat grass to or something with a mixture of wheat, barley or kamut or other cereal grasses. Mercury saps out nutrients so it is important to put them back as well as to get the mercury out. I can get recomended brands if you want
Ok..
3 day cleanse
pick only one juice...either apple or grape..dont mix juices
use only 100% juice, as natural as possible, organic if possilbe, never frozen concentrate.

The general procedure is: 16 oz. of prune juice first thing in the morning, then, 8 oz. of apple or grape juice 30 minutes later, and 8 oz. of distilled water after that; repeating the juice and distilled water each 30 minutes throughout the day. One gallon of juice is consumed each day for an average size adult, or one ounce per pound of body weight.
During the three-day cleanse, take one or two tablespoons of olive oil three times a day, to aid in lubricating bile and liver ducts.
If you get to hungry eat the same kind of fruit as the juice you picked. That is apples for apple juice or grapes for grape. Make sure that if you are going to eat solid fruit it must be chewed to liquid well before swallowing.
After the three days start on a good diet slowly with soft fruits and steamed veggies.

This should be done once a month.
For a more gradual gentle approach if it seems to daunting they can do the procedure just untill noon on a daily basis as long as you want to.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Sounds interesting - I think I will give it a try! Does it help you lose weight? And does the one gallon per day include water?
