hello I have PCOS and i have been taking
metformin and provera to help me ovualte
and have my periods....i have been taking
metformin since november and i started out
taking it once a day ...then twice a
day....then now i am suppose to take it
three times a day....BUT every time i take
it i get really sick no matter wat i eat
or dont eat.....i am afraid that the
doctor will get mad bc i had to stop
taking it....i would really like to takt
something that will work bc the metformin
did not work but other than making me sick
everytime i take it......i have no clue
wat happens from here and my husband and i
really want t a baby....all the doctors
say is to loose weight but its much harder
than that when you arent really that over
weight and they wont help u with the
weight loss....i am out of ideas
now...does anyone have any ideas bout
medicine or anything?

I take Met as well. It does have some
horrible side effects. And I agree, it
doesn't seem to matter what I do (or
don't) eat. I wish I had some helpful
hints, but i really don't.
All I can say is to stick it out. It does
seem to have made a slight difference in
my cycle (I actually ovulated last
month!)
