Hey! Thanks for asking!!
Yep we found a house! I haven't updated
lately because I didn't want to jinx
anything, but we put an offer in for
$82,000 (They wanted $89,900) & they
ACCEPTED!!! Ahh!! So now we're just
waiting for it to be appraised &
inspected, & if everything goes
smoothly it's OURS! We're both so excited
but still trying not to get our hopes up.
The house is about 10 minutes from where
we are now, so we'll still be in the
country with very few neighbors. It's a
"Cape Cod' style home, 4 bedrooms - 2 full
bathrooms. It's on about an acre & a
half, has a really nice yard! The only
downfall is there is a pond right out back
off the back yard & when it rains real
hard it makes the back yard soggy, but
that can be fixed. It's right on the
border between 2 school districts, so
Kaylee would be able to go to school where
Shane & I did, so that makes us happy!
It does need a little work, painting,
cleaning, shampooing carpets, etc, but
nothing at all major! I only have the
pictures that they had on the real estate
website, I thought they'd call me a freak
if I took the camera with me to look at
the house lol, so I don't have any other
pics yet. Hopefully next week the
appraisal & inspection will be
scheduled & we can keep this ball
rolling!
The house is really so much bigger than
the pictures make it look & the garage
is actually attached, with a sunroom in
between the house & garage! & the
room off the end of the garage will be the
pool table room.
I'm in love

happy for you guys! How many square feet
does it have? And when are you supposed to
be moving (pending everything goes
smoothly)? How freakin' exciting!!!!

Thanks!! It has 2,044 sq. feet. If
everything keeps going smoothly, the
closing date is set for April 30th, so we
could be moving as soon as the 30th or
even sooner depending on how fast
everything goes.

Thanks everyone! We are thrilled, now if
we would just hear back about the
inspection & appraisal we'd be good to
go, it feels like this process is taking
forever! I guess no one ever said buying a
house would be easy though :-p
