Im 19 years old almost 20, finally found a
forum to at least talk to people that
understand what im talking about. To get
to the point iv been a drug addict since I
was 13. I finally quit heroin and am about
3 months clean and to tell you guys the
truth I only did it to join the military
and serve my country. I know what you all
will say about "what if you get sore
muscles in a combat situation" and iv
heard it enough. I know body's limitations
and am not gonna sit here and prove why I
believe I have what it takes to let alone
get through basic yet alone operate in a
combat zone. My whole family has served
our country and I cant see myself doing
anything different...to get down to the
POINT is I want to know how many ppl with
MD have served in the military, obviously
im gonna lie and say I have a clean bill
of health but im sure many people have
done it and would just like some examples.
Im healthy and could already pass the PT
standards in the army if I was to do it
now, sorry for the long post iv been
looking for a forum to get this out.

Just to add im leaving for basic when I
get off probation in less than a month so
no one is gonna change my mind just would
like to know if anyone knew someone with
MD that served.
