Hi,
I've heard that people have success
putting milk of magnesia on their skin
every night since it absorbs oil thus
prevent acne. Is this safe though? I
cannot find any information as it's
intended purpose is oral ingestion as a
laxative. Can it cause high magnesium
levels in the blood if absorbed through
skin daily? I know it can cause high
levels through oral ingestion.

Try Witch Hazel. Its an astringent, and
has worked wonderful for years. Its not
the most plesant smell in the wrold, but
it dries up oily skin and take "zits"
away. This is what my daughter uses. after
years of trying everything else on the
market.....I'd say leave the Milk of Mag.
alone unless you are constipated! This is
sure to break that up!
