I had a miscarriage on 6th may . I was 7 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I bled for 8 weeks straight but the thing with this is i only everstop bleedng for a couple of days at the most . I no longer have the cramps as such but really bad period pains . I was given tablets to hopefully stop the bleeding which i havre now finnished and never worked they stopped me bleeding for 3 days. I have had a scan just yesterday which showed no reason for the bleed and no reason for the poain all that was seen is liquid which is obviously blod which obviously means i have a fair bit more to come . I had a traumatic miscarriage thanks to the hospital and dont want to go back (i was given my baby in a urine sample to confirm i had miscarried i had already had 2 scans and knew i was preg i didnt need to see) . Its getting to me so much i am at the moment wanting to ask for help concieving so they can rip the lot out because i am so sick of this . Also since i have totaslly lost my appetite alli can eat is tomato and cucumber sandwiches not alot i know and that too is reswally getting to me and am not sleeping io really need help please give me some advice baffle

I'm so sorry you are going through this. There is no reason they should have showed it to you, only the hospital needs to confirm it to put it on your medical history.

I would recommend another hospital. Most women only bleed for no more than 2wks, so at 8wks, I would definitely be concerned.

Good Luck, I hope you stop soon!

You might want to process your loss with the help of a counselor. How are you feeling these days?
