Hi my last period was Feb/25th...did 2
home pregnancy tests on March/30th and
both were positve...started having lower
back pain (which feels like a period) that
same day...for the next 8 days the lower
back pain continued along with over
symptons..breast tenderness little
naseau..talked to a nurse and was told not
to worry unless i had bleeding and/or pain
in my lower stomach....well what do you
know? i started having lower stomach pains
that very next day along with
discharge....i went to the ER 5 days ago
and they did an ultra sound and saw a sac
with nothing inside (which is normal
considering im only 3 to 4 weeks) they sd
i am probably miscarrying and nothing we
can do but wait and see.....that very
night i started spotting light pink and
for the last 6 days i have been spotting
mostly light brown on and off (mostly off
tho)...ive worn a pad but nothing ever
shows on it....im still having lower back
pain with slight lower stomach
pains....but still having other signs of
being pregnant....my breast are VERY
tender and my stomach is getting VERY
bloated....my question is that im sure
that Im miscarrying but how long does it
usually take from when you first start
spotting and having discharge...I am quite
uncomfortable at times with mid to lower
back pain and Im very scared...please
help...im very confused
do you think there is a chance i could be
pregnant still?

usually when you have a misscarriage you
will bleed a lot. Its your bodies way of
disposing of everything. If it has only
been light brown I would call your obygn
and get in right away for them to do more
blood work and see where your levels are
and maybe do another u/s. Im early in
preg. and have back pain and period like
cramps and they told me it is normal.
Also my sister is preg and has had a lot
of spotting, i took her to the hospital
one day b/c she was bleeding so bad,and
she did not misscarry. I would def make
an appt and get seen right away by you
obgyn! Good luck hun!!!
