So on May 25th I started my period and i
was about to start a new birth control
Nuvaring so i inserted on May 28th as
instructed by my doctor and my period
ended the next day... well i ended up
hating nuvaring it started messing with my
body just within the next few days. I
removed it on the 3rd of June, and ended
up starting my period again on the 6th and
it ended again on the 11th. Since then i
have had unprotected sex :/ and now my
period is late... i dont know which period
start date to count from, but even from
the more recent one i'm like 3-4 days
late. I took a home pregnancy test on
Sunday it was negative. I have had
bloating cramping irritably and other
pre-menstrual symptoms, but no period. Am
i pregnant? Is my period late from my
period being messed up? is something
seriously wrong? Help...

Try taking one more test, with a couple
more days. If you're really nervous, go to
the doc to get a test. And while you're at
the doc, ask about the weird cramping.
Did you take any EC (emergecy
contraceptive)? That always screws with
the functions. If not, I'm sure it's the
body just reacting to the hormone
craziness.
Now...WHY WERE YOU HAVING SEX WITHOUT
PROTECTION!? Don't do that! Have
something! Do NOT do that again! Condoms
are free some places...and others, they
cost $6...pick up a pack and keep them in
your purse! Get spermicide ones...they
work wonders!

what was so bad about the nuvaring that
you took it out within just a few days?
Just wondering, because it doesn't seem
like it could've done anything that
quickly.
If I were you, I wouldn't try to decipher
what period you're counting from- you can
take a pregnancy test 2 weeks after you
had sex (regardless of your period).
