Missed period or irregular cycle? Posted: 04-10-08 10:19am
I'm concerned that I might be preggers.
I went over NuvaRing a few months ago
[migraines]. NR forces you onto a 28 day
cycle, and I'm usually a 42 day cycle.
I seemed to be continuing on a 28 day
cycle for a few months, but I wasn't
really counting. My LMP started on March
3rd, ended on the 10th. I was expecting to
get one between March 31st and April 3rd.
Now it's April 10th, and no sign of a
period. If I returned to my 42 day cycle,
I'd be due on the 14th.
I took a test on the 3rd and on the 8th,
both negative. But if I returned to my 42
day cycle, I could have been ovulating
around the 26th (hint hint). I'm fairly
sure I'm one of those women that ovulates
multiple times per month. So if that's the
case, I wonder if the test would show up
positive if I am, since I'd only be about
2 weeks preggers.
I don't have any of the usual PMS
symptoms. I don't get pregnancy symptoms,
so...

A test is accurate from 10-14 days after
conception. So if you were 2 weeks
pregnant, a test should show your
condition.
If you don't get your period, take another
test with First Morning Urine in a few
days. If still no period, go see your
doctor for a blood test.
