I find myself in very odd situation and
I'm not sure what to do. I've been taking
Nuvaring for a few years now and I love
it. Last week I was supposed to take it
out and have my period, but I forgot until
like 2 days later and just left it in,
knowing I would skip my period. (It's the
same thing as starting a new pack of pills
when you should be on the sugar pills).
No big deal. Well tonight I went to take
out the ring and insert a new one and to
my surprise, there was no ring! At first
I thought it had just been shoved up there
real good but I fished around as much as I
possibly could and it is NOWHERE to be
found. The only thing that could've
happened is that it fell out at some point
(which I find very odd... that's never
even come close to happening.) And even
more odd is that it would fall out without
me noticing. Sooo I started freaking out
because Lord only knows when it fell out,
and I've had sex multiple times this
month. I ran out and bought a pregnancy
test, and much to my relief, it came back
negative. So everything seems hunkydory,
but if the ring was out, why on earth did
I not get my period this past week?? I'm
worried that it might still be somewhere
up there, but I went ahead and inserted
the new ring anyway. This whole thing is
really strange. Any thoughts?
