Thanks Rae02...will most definately do so
MsCarrie
Yea...I have always wondered what that
"swishing" noise was...just goes to show
you how a person can "misread" things and
start to accept things as "normal" ;o)
I did get your PM...thanks a mill...
I also understand that mitril valve
prolapse and regurgetation is not really a
concern on it's own...my problem is a bit
more complex tho but still not serious
enough to stress my self over ;o)
Because of the Marfans, my Aortic-Root is
more flexible than normal, meaning the
back-pressure from the regurgetation could
inflate it like a balloon, which could
cause it to rupture.
There's no real danger as of yet...the
Aortic-dialation is not that much...but
the situation is different to that of the
more common mitril valve prolapse that
occurs in people without Marfans.
A good example is my knees...which the
cardio used as an example to explain my
symptoms along side a "normal" person with
the same symptoms. If I did not have
Marfans, the Osgood-Schlatter would have
been nothing more than a mild
irretation...but because of the weekness
in my ligaments caused by Marfans, I am
left with patella-alta thanks to the
Osgood-Schlatter.
I hope tho that you understand I am just
trying to explain my situation and not
rejecting your support...I really
appreciate it and really need this kind of
help and information.
Things are a bit more flakey in my
world...28 with Arthritis and a good
chance of having my left wrist fused by
the age of 35 due to loss of
cartlidge...Chances are good that the
neck/shoulder spasmism I am having is also
Arthritis related. Doc fround at me and
just shook his head when I asked him if
it's stress related...
Thanks for being there!
