Ok, I was givin a blood test and they said since my HCG level was a certain level they were telling me that I was 12 weeks pregnant! Well my last menstrual period was April 24th, 2009 (Today is June 19th, 2009). I took a pregnancy test every month since Feb. of 2009 and every test read negative untill May 24th, which was my missed period. So for them to tell me that I am 12 weeks doesn't seem accurate to me? I took pregnancy test in April 2009 (negative). I then took a pregnancy test at the beginning of May, which came back negative. So if in May i "would have been" two months pregnant. Which is what my nurse had told me. Then if that is true why would my pregnancy test be telling me negative? At 8 weeks pregnant my HCG level should have been high enough to read on a pregnancy test.

Each test I took wasn't the same brand. So that couldn't have been the problem. Basically my question to you is, can you be 2 months pregannt and have a period, pregnanct test say no, and still be pregnant.

I was thinking that my HCG level was jus high for 8 weeks? Also, I think that it's kinda "perfect" that as soon as I miss my period that my pregnancy test start reading positive!!!.. Coincedince?!?! HELP?!
