MS symptoms and normal tests Posted: 07-15-08 20:00pm
In october 2007 I started to have symptoms
such as tingling and numness in my left
arm and leg, occasional muscle twitching,
blurry foggy vision which is worst since
october. I had MRI which was normal,
lumbar puncture normal, evoke potential
also normal. All different diseases which
have similar symptoms where rule out. My
symptoms never dissapeare they are still
present sometimes I feel they are not
tense but I feel them. Can I still have
MS?
You probably don't have MS.
What did ophthalmologist say about your
"foggy" vision?

Neuroophthamologist said that everything
if fine. They do not know why I have
vision problem. I am lost I do not know
what this can be. All diseases which have
similar symptoms had been role out. MAybe
you have any idea what this can be. Aneta
Sorry "anetamiska", but after all those
negative medical tests I have no idea what
is wrong with you, too. You can ask for
second opinion from another neurologist.

make sure that this is not MS. Aneta

Dr. Nikols, can I still have MS without
the lesion?
You can't have multiple sclerosis without
having brain lesion(s). Sometimes the
brain lesions can't be seen on MRI but
other diagnostic tests (spinal tap, evoked
potentials, neurological examination,
opthalmologic examination...), if
positive, would support the diagnosis.
I really don't believe that you have
multiple sclerosis.
