My daughter has terrible open wounds on her head which is causing her to itch she also has head lice, I have tried many things but can no longer use any chemicals on her head and can only use conditioner this still irritates her head. She is on antibiotics (for 4 weeks now0 but it has not cleared and we are waiting results, anybody come across this before

Well, if she still has the head lice......The main thing is to kill them off.....Doesn't matter how you do it..............Just get it done!..................For a sensitive head try oil......Baby oil, vegetable oil, olive oil.....Whatever you have..................Cover the head in oil, put on a shower cap and let her sit for hours like that.....Even overnight if necessary..............This will smother the lice and help slide off the eggs...........................Comb thru carefully to make sure you get them all...............Don't want a reinfestation! Everything, and I mean everything should be washed in hot water. For healing of the head try whatever is handy in your area.....Zinc cream, tea tree oil, aloe vera.....And even i've heard vit e caps spread on wounds helps healing.
Like antibiotics, unfortunately they kill the good bacteria along with the bad bacteria.......................Try replenishing her body with probiotics........Or simply plain yogurt.............If she can tolerate it. Smile
