My shortlist girl names

From the following names & nicknames, which would you prefer, like in a top 3 (or 5)? I'm looking for something strong but feminine.

THe names outside the brackets are the 'main thing' that I would use; so in some cases I'd focus on the nickname more, in others the nickname's optional.

Alex (FN Alexandra)
Ariel
Astrid
Chris (FN Christina)
Charlie (FN Charlotte)
Edie
Beth (FN Elizabeth)
Ellis (FN Elizabeth?)
Emma
Emily
Jasmin
Judith
Juliette (NN possibly Jules)
Julianne (NN possibly Jules)
Randy / Randi (Miranda)
Samantha (Sam)
Skye
Wanda
Wendy

Thanks heeps everyone!

i like all those names! my name is a little diffrent and i have been teased a lot but now pople say it is pretty. the spelling is what makes it so odd my mom was going to name me sabrina she had a hard labor they had gave her a lot of drugs and same how it was spelled tarina the nurse would not change it after.

I like:
Alexandra nn Alex
Astrid
Elizabeth nn Beth
Judith
Juliette
Julianne
Miranda nn Randy

I am very happy to see that someone else likes Astrid. I love that name. I like Edie as a nickname for Edith, but it seems kind of "cute" as a full name- not very substantial.

Ariel is actually a male name (Ariel Sharon, for example), so for a girl I prefer Arielle. Ariel on a girl makes me think of the Little Mermaid anyway.
