Q: Nauseous and late period

I ALWAYS have sore breasts and nipples for PMS symptoms. ALWAYS. That was my first clue something was up. I'm 6 days late on my period, and have been pretty nauseas for about two-three days now, but no sore breasts or nipples. I took a pregnancy test on the first day of my expected period and it came up negative. My period is always on time.. and by using the pregnancy calculators, my ovulation time is right on time of when conception would have occurred. Is it possible that the hCG levels were not high enough on day 1 of my expected period? Or.. could stress just be causing all this?? I was going to wait a week and see what happened.. so I'm due to take a preg. test again soon.

Was the test fully negative, or was there a very, very faint positive?

I had a urine test at a doctor's office when I was 4 1/2 weeks pregnant (a few days late for my period) and it came out negative. The blood test, however, was a loud and proud positive.

Like you, I ALWAYS have sore breasts when my period's coming, and like you, it didn't happen when I had conceived (though whoa nelly, it sure caught up with me at 6 weeks!)

Get thee to a blood test. And if it's positive, congratulations! Smile
