2nd birthday party ideas Posted: 03-13-08 09:08am
Chu's birthday isn't until the end of May
but I need some ideas for his party. I
want to plan it out at least two months in
advance so that I have time to order the
party supplies online. They take a while
to come. I have a couple themes in mind,
(they're not going to be as over the top
as last year) and I need a bit of help
deciding.
1. A pirate party. I'd arrange for
pirate themed decorations and games like a
treasure hunt, walking the plank (a
balance beam), and a treasure toss
(throwing bean bags into a treasure
chest). I'd also have a few crafts like
making telescopes and decorating
bandanas.
2. Backyardigan's bday party. This one
would mostly just be crafts like making
instruments, play dough, etc. I'd play
the Backyardigan's CD and decorate with
cutouts and stuff.
3. Circus party. I'd decorate with
bright colors, have face painting, balloon
animals and scaled down version of
carnival games like a ring toss, lucky
ducks, a tin can shoot and fishing. I'd
serve food like you'd get in a carnival,
popcorn, corn dogs, you get the picture.
Oh yeah, I'd make a sprinkle cake.

friends. They all sound fun!
